Glass Recycling
We all believe it is a valuable service and it sounds like many homeowners want to sign up. We've giving Shawn (Gunner's dad) the go ahead to service our community on a per homeowner basis. I've explained to Shawn that the bins will not be able to be stored on the porches permanently, instead homeowners will place them on their porches on the pick-up day. I'm sending Linda the information so she can send out a notification of this service to all homeowners.
Thanks,

Hello 37209! We officially have enough people to get started and have cleared all association permissions! I am very excited to bring you our service and hope that it is as good of an experience for you as our current customers. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. Here is more information to get you started March 16:
1.) The fee is $6 per month and includes two pickups per month. Each pickup is for one 18-gallon bin. If you require multiple bins, we can make special arrangements. There is a $9 startup fee to cover the cost of our bin. Most customers choose to pay for six months at a time, or $45 the first time and $36 each renewal. Some customers pay for one full year. If you wish to pay via PayPal, please visit http://www.gunnersrecycling.com/Gunners_Glass_Recycling/How_it_Works.html and go to the bottom of the page and select the $45.00 option. There is a $1.50 fee to cover PayPal's charge in the renewal fee, but the $45.00 statup fee includes the Paypal fee. Checks can be made payable to Gunner's Glass Recycling and mailed to PO Box 68364 Nashville, TN 37206.
2.) Bin Delivery will occur March 16th. A bin will be delivered to your home. Please leave any stockpiled glass on your front porch if you would like it taken away. If there is more than two bins of glass, then we will use February for your start date. Unfortunately, our trailer space is limited and we can only get one bin per customer per pickup.
3.) The 2011 pickup schedule is posted on our website and will be updated with Sylvan Park 1 soon. You are in the group Sylvan Park. We pick up your area on Wednesdays. The schedule for April is Apr 6th and 20th. We send an email reminder the day before service. As your neighborhood grows, we might split the route to the following week on Wednesday, so please be flexible as our small business grows and continues to make adjustments to provide the best service possible. You will be emailed if there is a change to your service day, but I don't foresee that happening until May or so.
4.) We will email you a few weeks before your next payment is due as a reminder.

HOA Meeting
The HOA Meeting was Tuesday December 7, 2010.
New board members were voted on and will be announced soon.
Assigned Parking was discussed. The decision was made to try the original plan of painting the parking lines, and see if that improves the situation before we vote on assigned parking. The company who started the parking lines were to come back and redo them because the first spaces they painted were too big. The redo and finishing of the parking marks were put on hold because of the talk of assigned parking. The Property Management team is going to see that all of the spaces are marked efficiently this time. They are also going to research reducing or removing the handicap spots.
The financial cost was a big factor in deciding to try the original approach first.
